I’d mentioned on my Instagram on Feb 1st that my weddings vendors review post will be up on the 12th. Apologies for not having it uo yet.
Had some website issues on Monday which dampened my mood and caused me to chill on plans. It will be up on the 23rd of February 💋
Today however, I’d be sharing some of my office looks that you can rock you your Valentines date without having to change on Thursday Feb 14. <what’s a metrogypsie female without versatility?
Love the earthy tones in this look. Shirt is an oversized men’s shirt which could serve as a dress, Mini skirt for feminine and the tights to make this a work look. It’s also winter here hence jacket + boots.
My scarf is the thickest of them all so even on the coldest days, I could do without a jacket. Blouse is a loose fit with lovely open ‘X’ detail at the back from my collaboration with E5P (everything5pounds). Shoes are flats for comfort and obviously a statement with that boo. Really feminine. Looks fit office pants too, very formal. I spend most of my lunch time taking photos of my colleague to build my photography page these days hence the camera.
3. Look Three
Highlight of this look is my oversized tote. This could hold a lot. Your partner’s gift, change of shoes etc. Dress isn’t red but close in its wine shade. Got this dress in green as well. So easy to throw on & off. Lol. It’s got a belt for that cinched waist your body deserves.
4. Look four
Such a playful look. Paired with Doc martens for a bit of strength in the look. You might already know that turtle necks are an absolute fav. Click here for the post on my Autumn 🍂 Winter ❄️ Uniform.
5. Look five
Easy on the eyes. Another turtleneck sighting. Leather at the bottom for vibe basically – another mini! Shoes same as above for 💪🏼. Red for love. Lol
6. Look six
Very girl-next-door I’d say. Simple plaits on the hair. Denim knee length skirt with long sleeve tight fitting body suit. Body suit so no apperarancw of excess fabric sewing as the skirt is longer than I’d usually do with tights.
7. Look seven
This looks like the most serious of them all. Girl boss vibes. It’s basically a thrifted Donna Karen New York jacket (similar)over a crop polka dots light jacket over my basic HM midi dress. So easy to look dressed down with this. Love the structured Carvela bag as well. An amazing TKMaxx find.
8. Look eight
Used the Valentines section tab waitrose for this shot because why not? Another nod to red in this loose fit Zara culottes. Heels for some grunge sexy.. added a crop for skin with this Zara cardigan (sister in law forgot at mine) for the office look.
9. Look nine
Saved the fav for last maybe. This was the piece that inspired this post to be honest. Dress was a brand new Ebay buy. I think the seller sold for £12! Need to send her this photo as I love love this dress. Paired with what my husband called ‘f*ck me boots’ lol imagine. He took this shot btw and that’s even his bag.
By the way (btw) guys, Ebay is such a home for off-season quality high street pieces! Your sold out Topshops, Zaras etc. Should do an Ebay episode on the channel real soon.
What’s your favourite Desk 2 Date look?
Thanks so much for your time on here. See you next time
