Autumn Trends I’m Totally In Love With | #MayreeMetro

My favorite season is here 🍂 !!!! What’s not to love about autumn? Photos look better, it’s way easier to be edgy and then all that layering. This season as with others, there are trends to be expected and I’m going to be talking about the ones I’m looking forward to rocking. My mate @mayreejay and I will be doing a series of posts on both our blogs, this is the first of the series.

• Fun (pink faux fur jackets, feathers, frills etc)

I’m really not a fan of pink though the color seems to chase me and I also seem to love it when others wear it. The only way I’m wearing pinky his Season will be on my Instagram feed.

• Oversized knits and midi skirts

I’ve already gotten in this as you’d see below and on my Instagram. Pleated skirts are a lovely and chic form of midi skirts.

• Soft Power Dressing (synched-in waists with belts and tied jackets) | Belted CoatsNothing sexier than adding some softness to a power dress-up

• Red to Toe

Haven’t tried this out yet but I totally cannot wait. I intend to do so during this series with Mayree though.

• Fun and Fancy Tights

With all the madness occurring in the world right now, what better way to give back happiness than with what we put on daily. Colored tights and tights with prints are a great way to go. All professional women should have a range of fancy hosiery

• Maxi Bag

So up my alley as my go-to bag right now is a maxi one. I got this bag from Primark and it continuously gets the where-did-you-get-that question till today. Unfortunately Primark sold out in like a week so yeah. Tartan print maxi bags a la ‘ghana-must-go-sacks’ are a total win these days.

• Artsy Boho Dress

Matched with boots or DMs, these are an absolute winner. Could also be work with a ja My and belted for that grunge look.

• Blue Shades (cobalt – periwinkle)

Just like the obligatory oxblood and khaki green, this range of blues are on trend this autumn.
