How To Make & Serve Jollof Rice #MGFoodace Series 02

Hi guys,

..as I’d mentioned in my previous video, @foodace was already done cooking the rice when I got to hers so we just worked in serving the rice.

I’d run through how I make jollof rice and then show we serving she did.

Ingredients for Jollof Rice

• rice (basmati or long grain)

• spices (maggi, pepper, salt, herbs, garlic etc)

. meat/chicken/fish 

• veg oil

• tomato paste

Meat stock

Tomato sauce

—————

Rice

Directions to making jollof rice

– Pour the meat/chicken/fish stock and the tomato stew into a sizeable pot and leave to boil.

– Add the drained parboiled (or raw) rice, curry powder, salt, pepper test of the spices to taste. The water level should be the same level of the rice (if parboiled)

– Cover the pot and leave to cook on low to medium heat.
