Lagos Fashion Week 2018 – Day One | What We Loved

It’s 5am and I’ve just woken up from an amazing sleep. Working with point.a hotels on staycation and affordability this weekend and their bed took delicious care of my life last night.

Today is the official final day of Lagos Fashion Week and I’ve spent the better part of 2 hours revelling at the shots from the event. Before I start off on my first love which is Street Style (next blogpost) let’s look at the collections that were shown. I’d be sharing one look per designer. This look would either be my fav of the collection or a piece I think represented the theme best.

Nigerian fashion is totally on the international map and these guys are doing better every year so stay abreast. Big ups to Heineken for constant support.

Loved the classic looks from the Dew, Fruché & Anyang. I’d see myself in that DNA dress. Kiki and Nack did justice to their althleisure collections. Cynthia, Russell and Maxivive served modern and edgy traditional vibes.

Thanka for stopping by, feel free to share your thoughts and catch up with me on YouTube,  Instagram and other platforms at Metrogypsie.

Go the extra mile
