London Nigerian Restaurant Review, Squires

London Nigerian Restaurant Review, Squires

To be frank I’m an ardent visitor to Squires Restaurant, the Canning Town Branch precisely. The Abula calls my name once a month basically. As I’d barely spent time outside  the house with Amaka who was visiting from Lagos coupled with her craving for Yam, we decided to pay Squires a quick visit. Click here to watch video.

I had my regular Abula (amala served beneath the soup usually ewedu) + Assorted Meat. | £8.00

Amaka opted for Asaro (Yam porridge) + Diced Meat | £8.00

We both had Suya to-go £7.00 each

I also had Jollof and Mase (Jollof rice and blended peppers sauce) | £8.00

Dodo (fried plantain) | £2.50

All in all, I’d rate Squires a 7 out of 10. Asides the Abula, Suya AMS Bread sometimes, most of their meals don’t taste fresh.
