August 9th was Uju’s Birthday. Our main plan for the day was dinner with friends at Haz Restaurant, St Paul’s. We then threw in a little bit of magic in the form of afternoon tea at Peggy Porsche. I’d first known about Peggy Porschen from fancy Instagram photos…since then it had been on my to-go-and-snap-at list. Anyways, here are the photos from our day, enjoy the video below..
Sunday Sunday marketing…that’s what occurs on Peti-Coat Lane in Liverpool Street every Sunday. There are tons of retailers selling off season stock from the high street brands and online stores.
Brands like Topshop, M&S and also asos, missguided etc can be seen there. European brands, 2nd hand items and tourist souvenirs can also be spotted over there. One has to be careful though as some retailers stitch on the tags of big labels unto cheap clothing. As with most street markets, there’s food available as well.
Walked through this street last weekend and decided that buy a couple bits. Got a missguided tee for £3 and a dress for £10. Styled by myself and shot by @emilyjsowerby.
Btw, I’ve got a new channel, kindly subscribe by clicking here. Thanks.
Last year I only was able to catch up with Caesar Couture during my quick blog roundup of the shows. I had my 9-5 that day so barely watched the designers that showed for the 3rd and final segment. Asides this BTS photo below, the rest of my knowledge was updated via numerous Instagram posts.
The show was epic.
It’s wedding 👰 season and I’ve got 3 to attend in the next 2 months so I thought to do something related for you. Hit Onyinye up with the idea and we came through with a few pieces. All purchased on asos.com, we’ve featured brands like Chi Chi London in this post (video below). All links that these items are on here as well as links to similar options. Today have no excuses not to slay at your weddings/after-parties.
