Getting the always desired skin radiance and sparkling glow is quite easy-maintaining it to achieve long-term results is the real job.

Imagine a scenario where you implement a fully advanced fitness routine, eat healthy, focus on an all-natural skincare routine, scrub and mask at least twice a month, drink 8 glasses of water daily, apply sunscreen before hitting the road on a hot summer day, wash off any traces of makeup before retiring to bed, and get 8-10 hours of sound sleep. Sounds easy. Right? These are the 8 golden rules for healthy, glowing, and youthful skin. But exactly how long can majority of women dedicate religiously to these unwritten rules?

Well, if you are among the majority who cannot meet the required level of discipline, here are some simple tips that can actually help.

Make green tea your best friend: Unlike your ordinary tea, green tea comes packaged with anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-aging properties that reward the skin with an array of benefits. Green tea is a powerful free radicals neutralizing agent. Accordingly, it eliminates inflammation and scars caused by over-exposure in the sun. The anti-aging properties of green tea prevent premature skin aging by reducing the visibility of aging signs. Lastly, green tea is an effective remedy for conditions such as psoriasis and rosacea.

Drink plenty of water: No matter how difficult it gets, always try to consume 8 glasses of water daily.  Water is extremelyimportant not only for your skin, but for overall body health. It hydrates the body and removes excess toxins that steal the glow from the skin.

Get some essential oils: You cannot afford to miss these glorious oils in you product collection. They bring in some real changes that are not easy to achieve with contemporary beauty products. Some of the best essential oils for skin include: cypress, lavender, rose, frankincense, patchouli, myrrh, geranium, and neroli. Lavender, geranium, and frankincense are excellent for sunburns. They are rich in properties that eliminate these blemishes thereby making the skin look flawless and soft. Generally, most of the listed essential oils can treat serious conditions such as eczema, acne, dryness, and flakiness.

Take foods that are rich in omega 3: Omega three is a form of polyunsaturated fatty acid that is known for its remarkable nutritional value to the body and skin. It is obtained from both plants and animals. Some of the well-known sources include; fish, squid, hemp oil, berries, seabuckthorn seed, and flaxseed oil. From treating acne, to psoriasis, sun sensitivity issues, and allergies, omega three keeps your skin smooth and beautiful.

Overall, as listed at the beginning, there is much more that can be done for improved skin health. However, beginning with these simple tips paves way for higher discipline and dedication. It allows you to grow one step at a time by creating the need for better results.
