Winter Lookbook ft @Wizzynorlin

Hi guys,

…it’s that time of the year again where it’s all cold and we’re scared of what February holds in terms of temperature. Some days are supposedly sunny..cold sun.. lol, others could be so windy it’s uncomfortable then days like when we shot this was rainy and wet. We literally had to get dressed while it was pouring in the hopes that it will calm down and it did. 👌🏽

We cannot also ignore the reflective bit of this time of year which is usually lined up with hopes for a better self/situation in the new year.

Themed  Laid Back Structures, based on the above facts, these are the 6 looks (3 each) by Bright and I for our Winter Lookbook.

Look One – Earned

The term earned here refers to what brings our bread. So it’s basically a look for winter based on our occupations.

Bright

This camel structured cut coat is a must have for most male fashionistas. The darks worn underneath shows a subtle form of effortlessness and class. Turtle neck exhudes his stylish nature. Those leather shoes just hits the spot..basically being a summary of what kind of man he is.

Stephanie

The Earned Look

—————–

There is something about monochrome that screams strength. Stephanie’s attitude and approach to hernwork is really strong and passionate. This black coat is a mens vintage piece. She loves an androgynous look. The white tweed dress with the huge lace-type ropes looks like a luxury brand piece *whispers Chanel* but it’s just Asos. One is alswags able to work with what’s given efficiently to the get great results.

Look Two – 60’s Colour Pop

Bright

—————–

After the post war 1950s oatmeal, cream and strong clear pastels inspired by the new plastics fashion was all about bouffant hair, stiletto heeled shoes, Jackie Kennedy and Elvis Presley and a few intellectual types who were Beatniks and then very quickly swung over (Swinging 60s) to a decade of radical change, rebellion, vibrancy and a desire for freedom – of any sort. Look Three – Prospective

Bright

This theme could also be called The Constant. These are looks we wish to either carry over to the next year and season. For Bright, he’d actually want to have this as one of his ‘uniforms’ in 2017.
